Pre-ordered. Grabbing the German release as well, keeping this one sealed though as it seems it might be regular size since it looks like its only a 3-disc.

I will wait for the Extended Edition Trilogy, and something that matches the LOTR Extended Edition Trilogy.

After the extended BOFA drops I'll see if it's an improvement (haven't seen it but reviews say it stinks) and maybe pick up a super-mumbo-jumbo deluxe extended saga set of all six.

Or just bite the bullet and buy the extended LOTR already.

It's good pretty good audience scores across the board but negative opinions tend to be more vocal most of the time anyway. Personally I don't care for critics, reading some negative reviews even here you'd think it was the worst movie ever made but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It looks like this one will be a 3-disc, going by their site. The German release however, will have 12-disc steelbook. Although i doubt it will be a standard jumbo, not with 12 discs.
