Default Valley of The Dolls (1967)

Fox released a 2 disc special edition dvd, but, why they didn't released a blu-ray for this film?
I was thinking and maybe Criterion could release it, with a good package of extras.
I haven't saw this film yet, but, I downloaded it and I pretend to watch it soon as possible, i'm just thinking if I watch the film before of after reading the book, which I own.

I started reading the book, and after a few chapters, the poor writing became unbearable. Planning to watch the movie instead.

I'm almost finishing my reading of the book and I'm loving it, but I just don't understand why the film hasn't been released in blu-ray yet. There's a hd version on iTunes (I didn't bought it and didn't found any other links to download it), so Fox or Criterion could release it in blu-ray, I just don't know why they don't do this.

Camp classic; would love to see it come out on blu. Odd thing about the DVD, though... There are a ton of extras on the DVD set, but for some reason Judy Garland's recording of the song "I'll Plant My Own Tree," along with her costume tests, aren't included in the bonus features. You'd think they would be front and center in the extras.

I admit I cried watching Sharon on screen, it's so sad to remember what happened to her, so beautiful and so young. She wasn't a great actress, but i'm sure she had potential.
