Default Almost got the Dirty Harry Blu-ray movies

Today I was in a big store located downtown Brussels, an equivalent to one of your American Walmarts I guess.
Anyways I was there and I saw the Dirty Harry Blurays, got excited and after checking a positive review on the High def Transfer I was really close to buying those 5 Discs but I did not ...

The total price was €110 which is roughly $175 ...

So whatever the reason for such a high price I'd like to say that if they don't make an effort here in Europe to sell Blurays at a reasonable price (and why not the same as the US price), they will lose sales like they did today and I really wanted those

having just recently been to Amsterdam i can say that prices are much higher
in Europe not just for blu-ray discs but for most things. the European union
is struggling has been since they changed to the euro cant count the amount of Americans i heard complaining about prices and cant say i enjoyed paying 7.50 for a pint of lager in Amsterdam i think Europe will struggle behind
the rest of the world in sales of blu-ray

Well, another issue other than price is that in the US market, Warner has chosen to release a boxset of these titles - thus buying in "bulk" gives a price advantage, and also the incentive of extra "gubbins" in the box. No such option exists for Europe.

Just like Warners didn't give us the option of boxsets for Harry Potter, The Oceans films or Best of Blu-ray starter sets and let's not forget the cut-down Blade Runner release over here.

What gives Warners? I understand dollar to pound price comparisons are unfair as there are several considerations that a straight conversion doesn't take into account (average earnings, tax, prices of similar products etc) but I still think BD prices here are a little too high. But there is no excuse for not being provided with the options for cheaper boxsets if we chose to buy the whole series. Sort it out.

You should really get the US Collector's Edition. With it you get a hardcover book and a real copy of his wallet.

I live in Austria and only paid 12€ of import tax. With the $$87,95 (50€) it was still only 62€. The collectors Edition is really great.

check it out
