Default Rob Zombie's Halloween 1 & 2 Thearical Cuts Canadian Release vs. others available

I have searched and read a lot around the forums, but I have not been able to find any real comments on any of the releases of the Zombie Halloween 1 & 2 Theatrical Cuts other than the Alliance Double Feature. I know that EIV put out Halloween 2 theatrical in the UK and that there is a release in Germany for the Halloween theatrical. I think the Japan releases are a bit out of my price range.

Essentially, since Alliance is known for underwhelming transfers when they do their own, rather than just porting another company's release, I am wondering if some of the international releases have better PQ. I can likely get both the UK and German blus for around the same price as the Canadian and I am looking for some input on which ones to pick up. Not worried about extras, I'm strictly looking at PQ/AQ.

PS. I thought since I am discussin the Alliance release as well, this can go in the N. America subforum. Move it if not. Thanks

For whatever it's worth, I think my German BD of HALLOWEEN (2007) looks and sounds like perfection.

While the PQ for RZH1 is fairly decent on the Alliance double feature, the PQ of RZH2 is fantastic and on par with the PQ of the US Uncut blu-ray.

You guys are making it tough to decide! Not to put anyone to a whole lot of trouble, but if anyone happens to have a blu-ray drive in their PC, could you post the size and bitrate of the two movies on the Alliance disc?

If you already have the US releases of the unrated cuts, I'd go with the Alliance double feature. The only special feature that it would lack would be the commentary tracks for the theatrical cuts, which you can find on the DVDs.

I would still be interest to know the GB size of each movie, I may just go ahead and pick up the Canadian release for convenience sake. Thanks for the input
