Default Selling PS3 - How to Reset

I plan to sell my PS3 and get a standalone. I can already hear all the "why would you do that" comments. Answer = I never play the games. I mean NEVER. So I want a player that doesn't consume as much power and throw off as much heat. I'll probably get the s350.

Anyway... Presumably there's some private info on my PS3. Is there any easy way to remove the MP3s and video I stored on it? At the same time I'd like to get rid of any "cookies" that might exist from when I bought a downloadable game from Sony.com.

Thanks for the help.

Meaning that's some sort of option through the menus? Thanks again for your help.

Go to settings and scroll down to software. You can click restore hard drive and it will take over 3 hours. I had to do it to mine when I thought it would sell. The bastard never paid so I am going to keep it.
