Default Iron Man Steelbook Edition?

I think I read somewhere on here that there was gonna be a steelbook released in Germany or somewhere, but I can't seem to find the thread where I read it at. Anyways, does anybody have any information at all on a US release?

The DVD comes in both stranded edition and 2 Disc Special Collectors Edition, the BluRay version only comes in Special Collectors Edition (but I think it's only 1 disc). I don't know anything about a Iron Man Iron/Steel Book Edition.

First, the release of Iron Man will be a 2 disc set on blu-ray, Paramount seems to love using two discs so they can get the best quality. A steelbook will probably be avalible in North America for the 2 disc DVD as a store exclusive (at Future Shop here in Canada, I don't know where in the US though). Now, I don't know if the stores that'll get the steelbook DVD will get it with the blu-ray, cause I Am Legend is the only blu-ray that's ever got a steelbook exclusive.

A steel book edition of Iron Man would be awesome! If any movie should get a steel book it should be Iron Man.

If they put Iron Man out in a stupid steel box case then they can keep it. I have passed on many Warner titles already because of it.

I don't mind what case it comes in. But if its costs more than a usual BD I would like them to add extra content.

I think a steelbook Iron man would be awesome. I always pick up the steelbook for video games. They look way better than the normal cases.

I think it would be more appropriate to make it a ironbook edition.

Perhaps a Gold-Titanium alloy edition would be more accurate? Then throw a little Hot Rod Red in there while you're at it.

Here in Canada, Future Shop has posted an exclusive steelbook edition for BOTH DVD and Blu-ray. Here's a link to the Blu-ray one: http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...52&catid=24080 So there you have it, at least Canada will be seeing a steelbook, which would probably mean that somewhere like FYE should be getting one for you guys in the US.

I'm not really a big fan of steelbook cases. I actually find them kind of annoying.

That being said, I wouldn't mind them releasing a steel book version of Iron Man for those who want it as long as they also have a regular case version as well.

The only steelbook I ever wanted was Appleseed Ex machina. I keep thinking about getting the DVD one and just swapping it....hmmm....maybe ebay.
