are these region locked? I fear we may never get them in the U.S

As far as I know the German releases are not English-friendly.

The two French releases are English-friendly and Region-Free. We have reviewed one of them:

Les Rivières Pourpres Blu-ray REVIEW

This release from Canal isn't English-friendly.
