United Kingdom Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) - Three Wolves

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Austi...lu-ray/123974/

Out on June 4th 2015.

The old Optimum release had no extras which was a crying shame. Hopefully, we see them restored to this release.

Three Wolves are a relatively new distributor that have released a number of mainly low budget movies in the last couple of years, though I hadn't really heard of them until recently. This year they seem to have Hardware and this coming, as well as a DVD of An American Werewolf in Paris. They also have House on Haunted Hill (2009) and Orgazmo (DVD only) coming in the next couple of months.

Think House on Haunted Hill has gone OOP in Germany, so a useful release, especially if it comes with some extras

I ordered the American three film set from Amazon UK Marketplace. It was just under £11 & region free.

I thought the US version* was the shorter cut version (compared to the International cut)?

*Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery

It is the shorter US cut but has the DVD extras.
The old UK disk was the longer UK / International edit but no extras.

I believe the best version is currently the Australian disk from Umbrella. UK / International edit and the DVD extras.

I wonder if we will ever see the deleted scenes featuring jokes about Princess Diana
I think it's been long enough now

All 3 movies are region free (the separate US releases, and 2 box sets).

This is another one of those situations where I am sitting here wondering where you are getting your info from? The Australian Umbrella disc contains the shorter U.S cut.

There's a joke about their marriage ending in divorce which has always been in the film, in the UK cut anyway. Were there more Di jokes?

AFAIK that was the contentious joke and it was restored for video.

I hope they do a new transfer. I heard the one done by Optimum was awful.

I think if it matches the US release it will be a big improvement, we just need that quality and the International cut. Hopefully, this won't be the case, of one cut been stuck in the mud, whilst an alternative one looks the business!

It was a lot better than their DVD though, so still the best edition of the uncut version.
