United Kingdom Big Hero 6 (2014) - Disney

Very good to see we are getting a 3D disc, seen as Disney keep leaving that option from US releases. I just hope they continue with 3D.

Just preordered. £19.33 shipped to U.S. ($29.12 at current exchange rate, certain to change before it ships). And since it comes with 2D (some countries like India were 3D-only), I can definitely take the U.S. digital early release next week (2D, not 3D) and snub the physical version entirely due to no BD3D here.

Don't forget the Zavvi Steelbook 3D version (thread in Steelbook forum).

Any idea when it will actually release? I'm sure it will be awhile.

I'm thinking late April/May at the earliest. I've been wrong before though.

No 3D in the States and the 3D listing disappeared in France.
I really hope the UK will get the 3D version and that it will have French subs. I need this movie in 3D!

It has English SDH, Portuguese and Spanish subs only.

Sorry, it was not my intention

But I think France will have a 3D version. I mean, it has one for Frozen and Wreck-It Ralph, why wouldn't it have one for Big Hero 6?

It's okay ^^

I hope so too... The listing with the French title "Les Nouveaux Héros" is up with an artwork. But there still a listing under Big Hero 6 for the 3D version.
So I guess there's still hope

I just hope it is all region, like Frozen and unlike Ratatouille.

Pretty much all Disney Blu Rays are region free now.

I can get this for $22 including shipping which works out to be £12 or so as I have promotional credit on the U.S. site, or do I just stump up the extra and get it from DVDWorldUsa...

Ratatouille 3D was released rather recently (early 2014?) and that one is B-locked.

That wasn't a general release title though it was part of a promotion, no reason the standard Big Hero 6 release will be locked.

Likewise, on the off chance they're as early as they were with Muppets Most Wanted....
