Yes, Der Nebel is the German name for The Mist.

Also, I know I posted a while back about GitS 2: Innocence Absolute Edition and said I thought it was a Steelbook. I got it today and can confirm it is not a Steelbook, but rather one of those Metalbooks someone referred to after my post. Sorry for any confusion.

According to the Extras menu there's a Black and White version. Listed as (Schwarz/Weiss) or something like that.

I think jwbbud is right.
In general the extra materials are of standard definition, PAL format for most region B countries. You cannot watch them on your NTSC TV set.
