CANADA!
Default Question for those streaming their music from their PC...

OK so I took the big leap today and set it all up to stream music from my PC to my PS3... Im using Windows Media Player 11... just for its ease... now what Im wondering is when Im playing the songs on my PS3 and playing by album... it plays the songs in alphabetical order rather then the order they're suppose to go based on the album... hope that makes sense? Anyways Im wondering how I can set it up like that... or do I have to make play lists???

Cheers in advance!

Keep suggesting to Sony that they add a sort by tracknum to media server queries.

So its nothing at this point that can be fixed? Other then doing a playlist for every album... or would that even work?

That should work, but others can answer better. Near as I can tell though, the PS3 doesn't [or isn't able to] retrieve the track number field.

Just rename them with the track number in front of the FILENAME.

01 - Mad World.mp3

There's plenty of programs that will do this by renaming the file from the tag info.
