Arrow would not have found its footing had its first season been cut in half.

The worst part is, Constantine's ratings are better than NBC expected. The problem is, NBC wants every show to have the same ratings as Grimm, which is not going to happen, especially in the beginning.
And that's pretty sad. I would never have guessed the day would come when the ratings "Grimm" gets would be considered "high" (they are terrible - they are just "good enough" for NBC on a Friday night). The problem is matching "Grimm"'s rating is a low bar and "Constantine" couldn't even meet that.

Any Fox executive that would want to cancel "Gotham" would be insane - it's rare for a network to cancel a show due to quality (and, shockingly, it seems there are plenty of people that somehow like "Gotham"). The only example I can think of is "Birds of Prey", which should never have normally been cancelled given the numbers it got for The WB. But, "Gotham" gets higher ratings than "The Flash" and "Arrow" because the world just doesn't make sense.

Arrow is good enough to spawn The Flash.

As a Batman fan Gotham isnt doin it for me and neither did the comic in the first place.

Constantine needs to move over to Netflix. These darker heroes arent gonna get Smallville numbers. By the look of that Daredevil trailer, Netflix is really going to make Flash, Arrow, SHIELD, and the rest of the mainstreamed network superhero shows feel like Dawson's Creek.

Same here with Gotham. Whatever the CW network is doing with Arrow and The Flash they are doing it right. Just freaking awesome!

I agree NBC should just hand it over to Netflix. I could see them having their own little DC universe for the smaller heroes. Imagine a Netflix Swamp Thing, Dr. Fate or Zatanna series.

And Gotham is okay, but I'm never really looking forward to a new episode.

The problem I had with Gotham is that it was relying on its easter eggs of who is going to eventually become whom rather than actually making a good cop drama.

I wonder if Flash will get a suit upgrade for season 2.

He will, one that is more New 52-ish.

Actually 52 is being dropped by DC. So I wonder by next season if they bother to reference a "dead" universe.

Superman now has a newer costume than the 52 version now.

I read there will be carry over though.

WHAT!? So does that mean they are starting a totally new universe or are they going back to the old pre-New 52 universe? And what about Earth-2 will that universe still exist?

Google.

Theyre not going back. Its called the Convergence.

It will be a multiverse again.

he new costume still has a New 52 feel to it with the suit lines, collar, wrist guards, and lack of red trunks, but the armor look has been toned down considerably, lending itself to more of a classic, cloth-material look. Not as big a departure as a blinding, destructive power, but notable nonetheless.

Actually, what happens after Convergence hasn't really been cleared up, but yes, they are losing the "New 52" branding, but the storylines will continue. Whether or not we'll be getting a multiverse again outside of the Convergence event, that hasn't really been confirmed yet though, has it?

True.

The story involves Brainiac having trapped cities from various timelines and planets that have ended, brought them in domes to a planet outside of time and space, and "is now opening them for a great experiment to see what happens when all these folks meet."

Found THIS as well. An article that reveals a lot of DC's plans following Convergence. Lots of interesting news here...

They have slowly been upgrading Barry's suit since the first episodes. The costume he's wearing now looks far more like his comic book costume than the one from the pilot.

They never explained why the costume had lightings embedded into its design when it wasn't "The Flash's suit", at the beginning of the Pilot episode.

It's always been a Multiverse. The New 52 Earth (Earth 0 is the MAIN Earth). Convergence is going to be like Secret Wars. Everyone is going to fight kinda thing. That will be for 2 months.

As for the new Superman costume and Super-Flare power =
But I can't really tell the difference between his previous suit and his new one lol.

They are not going to go thru this "event" for things to remain the same.

Secret Wars was between one universe. This is Earth X, S, 2, Kingdom Come, etc counterparts/versions fighting one another.

I guarantee some of the favorites from the pre-Crisis are going to be re-installed.

Theyve already tinkered w/ Superman from his 52 Version.

Well, continuity was already out the window in 2011, and with fewer than 52 books coming out each month and the Future's End series over, there's nothing keeping the 52 brand intact. What kind of books can we expect to be (considering) reading? The tally is 24 titles that will continue running, and 24 new titles that will begin.

If that is the case I just hope Green Lantern, Earth-2, and Justice League remain the same.

I do hope for the Legion of Super-Heroes to return using the classic stuff, the new 52 run for them sucked ass (with the exception of Legion Lost)
