This trailer is BADASS! About half way through when The Punisher puts his fist into the guys face (yes) my eyes almost popped out of my head!

wow i wasnt really thinking that this new punisher would be any good but this amped up violence is making me change my mind, i mean he stuck the leg of the chair into a dude's eye, i think this is the only way that this movie could make any money, really pumped up violence, i wanna see this now.

Oh My F@*&%! lord!!!! I've loved The Punisher since I was eight, and loved the Thomas Jane version...but DAMN! This will rule all. If it's not NC17, it'll be damn close.

OMFG! This looks hilarious

It looks like they are going for the Grindhouse feel. Reminded me of the trailer for "Hobo with a Shotgun".

I agree! After seeing the first trailer and the "I'd like to get my hands on God" line I was skeptical. After seeing this uber-violent trailer I now I have high hopes for the movie and I am very anxious to see it!

This might be great.

I'm seeing less and less things that are "kid friendly" now and I think it is high time we take back cinema for ourselves.

If people are offended, then they don't need to see it.

I LOVED the spirit of the new RAMBO and I will fully support this movie!!!

As a huge fan of hardcore-action films, I'm really excited about this movie. I'm not a fan of the first one(lacks intensity) but this one looks promising. I like the Punisher character as well. This looks to be more true to comics than the first one.

When you say the first one which one do you mean? This will be the third Punisher movie.
The first one was with Dolph Lundgren, the second was Thomas Jane. I liked both of them. This one looks super violent which is cool by me but it doesn't make me want to see it. I have a feeling that this will bomb, badly. I'm just going with my gut. I will wait for video.

Ohh, I mean the Thomas Jane's movie. I didn't get a chance to see the Dolph Lundren's version so I forgot to count that one. I disagree that this movie will bomb because I think this will be more faithful to the comic so fans of that version will likely go and see it. Anyways, it can't be as bad as the last one, can it? You just gotta have fate!!

Well, after reading some new info on AICN on this movie my enthusiasm has dropped. Sounds like they are intent on not giving a f*ck about source material or anything else.

Post me the link. From what I know about the Punisher, and what I saw in the trailer, the origin in this one looks correct. Also, I had read the opposite. That they were getting back to the comic. Heck the poster above looks exactly like a comic cover I had seen. Maybe this weekend I will see if I can find it and post it.
