Anyone got any idea what the specs of this release will be like compared to the German release?

Has anyone bought this as of yet? I'd really like to know the specs compared to the German release.

Mine arrived just a couple of minutes ago. I can post some specs tonight when I come home from work. However the backcover indicates lossy DD 5.1 which doesn't sound good. I fear we get the German DigiDreams crap on this one as well.

Given that the German BD doesn't have any grain at all, that sounds really hopeful. Could you do a quick comparison with these screencaps please:

The German release would have been better received if they'd billed it as "A Jean Claude Van Damme Animated Movie"!

I have just watched the BD and I have to say I am extremely disappointed. It is exactly the same DNR crap as the German release. Even the same videofile with same bitrate. There is no grain whatsoever! Stay away!

No surprise really, I am not expecting much from the A.W.O.L BD either. I am glad it was only around £9.

Guess I can strike this from the wish list.

And the same probably goes for the next bunch of these 101 releases.

Well they should probably stay on the 'wish' list. Just don't put them on the 'get' list!

Distinctly disappointing this

Did anyone else notice the disc art, it isn't even from Black Eagle. It looks like a forty something Van Damme from one of his direct to DVD films. I can also confirm that the transfer is the same godawful one used in Germany, stay away from this release. Even in motion it looks like an oil painting. Also to add only lossy audio.

101 Films confirmed on Facebook that they will use the German 'masters' for Nemesis Box as well.

Looks like Krekel was right when he said his release was "world's best" as his DNR disasters are being palmed off on dopey fellow distributors.
