although i like klipsch speakers, i never was a big fan of 'flat panel' speakers. i dont know, its just bothering me at times.

considering
1. you lose out on the frequency response due to its cabinet size
2. since there isnt much of a cabinet to begin with, resonance is another issue
3. 4inch drivers - not my style i guess
4. i havent listened to em.

find reviews, user opinions, and quite frankly, a lot of research to determine what direction you might want to take.

as others would mention as well in this thread,

klipsch - either you love it or hate it.

some prefer the horns, others think its too 'bright' or too 'revealing'

from sony speakers to another pair/brand, you may want to find out more details instead of searching off internet deals.

QFT. Give them a listen if possible, you may find something else you like more, or find exactly what you were looking for. My problem with my Klipsch speakers is that I have is I find them very fatiguing.

mine are better.

seriously though, I would steer clear of the RVX speakers... as much of a fan as I am of klipsch, they lack in performance and I would compare them to polk speakers that retail at about half the price... as much as klipsch would like to prove otherwise, their speakers that sound good have big cabinets.
