Actually selling out, and Zavvi saying it sold out are two different things.
Zavvi does this all the time, and closer to release more copies become available. Be it via order cancellations or Zavvi holding back stock.

Agree. Zavvi never sell out first time. Maybe they are preparing another amazing Z box

It would be great if they took people's opinion into consideration and changed this artwork ASAP!
(preferably with the original film poster)
I'm not gonna buy this either.
It's hideous.

Crappy artwork or not, nothing can change that this is the most cosmic cinematic masterpiece in history and we humans are all blessed by its presence.

Actually, more like the "Passing wind" of action movies. Have enjoyed many Arnie flicks but this one was just silly. Might have had something to do with the circumstances of seeing it. I was spending a few days in San Diego on a motor trip years ago and staying in a motel near downtown. "Commando" was coming on TV at eight o'clock. I'd gone out to bring in some fried chicken, and while racing back the few blocks to the motel to be there when it started I picked up a speeding ticket. Needless to say the pay-off hardly justified the effort...

Oh come on the acting was superb throughout, especially the bad guy, and the script was excellent and added a life-like realism to the proceedings. Also it didn't make the mistake of many movies of this era by going over the top with the carnage and making out that one guy could take on a whole army by himself.

[Show spoiler]

The Play one sold out quick too - it was cheaper of course mind!

Commando is quintessential Arnie!

They may be a US member as the US DVD of True Lies from Fox is NON-anamorphic.

The anamorphic DVD is the one released by Universal in the rest of the world (rights were split). What I though was great was Universal for years from its originally release illegally sold the uncut European DVD in the UK as well, despite compulsory cuts required by the BBFC for its age 15 rating on DVD here in the UK !

Fox will share the same disk in UK and Germany.
Only difference seems German version of film title on their Steelbook.
