OFDb Filmworks announced the Blu-ray release of Guy Magar's violent supernatural revenge flick Retribution as a 3 Disc-Limited Edition (1,000), and a Hartbox Edition limited to 100 for April 2015.

The Digipak (and Hartbox?) will include:

~ R-Rated Theatrical Version (1.78:1) Blu-ray + DVD
~ Unrated Version (1.33:1) DVD
~ Audio Commentary (Guy Magar)
~ Booklet
~ Trailer
~ Unrated Deleted Scenes

Really happy about this. Since Bill ceased international shipping, I haven't been able to pick up the Code Red DVD, which it now turns out has worked out for the best.

Comes out around a week after The Last House On the Beach BD too, so I'll be able to split the shipping.

Really hope there are no forced german subtitles on the English audio tracks. I'm sure I can live with it if they do have forced subs though, as it sounds like a decent package. Were there two versions on the Code Red release?

Ordered it alongside Last House On The Beach and Blood Diner. Thank god the Euro is low at the moment, makes these slightly more affordable.

Do we know if this company releases solid blu-rays? I love this film but can't justify spending 50 bucks on a release if the PQ ends up being crappy.

As the title I ordered this with has been delayed until the end of this month (Last House on the Beach), I'd love to hear some impressions, and if the subtitles are forced or not for the English audio track. I gather the director holds the rights, so I assume it'll be from the same HD master Code Red used for their DVD?

Just ordered myself a copy but won't be in for a few weeks. Will post my thoughts once I have it. My guess is the blu-ray will contain a high def transfer of the code red master. I'll be happy to upgrade this if that's the case. The DVD looked excellent and I felt Bill should have released a blu-ray as well.

To BAKA, the code red version had the theatrical cut with deleted scenes but no full unrated cut.
