It is minutely better, mostly in color. Detail isn't much improved though.

Worth the upgrade for the better compression and colors.

Better to keep both since the original disc has all the extras and the MI4 release contains none.

I got the new one since I got such a good deal on it. I just wish I still had my old dvd for the features. But the picture does look great on the 4k version. I don't have a 4k set up yet, but it's great nonetheless.

I highly recommend the Mi4K version over older version (which wasn't bad at all) The Mi4K version is just breathtaking. I must have watched it at least three or four times last year.

It's a blu-ray. Even if you had a "4k setup", you'd still be watching it in 1080p just like on your TV now.

True but mastered in 4K releases almost always look noticeably better.

Of course they do, but that's not what he was saying.

The blu-ray is not 4K anyway, they just used a 4K master for the new HD transfer. So it doesn't matter that you don't have a 4k TV.

It's still a regular 1080p blu-ray, just like all your others. It just might happen to look slightly better than the previous release, that's all.

Again, the disc itself is NOT 4k resolution. It's regular 1080p HD.

Just watch the disc you bought and enjoy it. Don't worry about it.
