Germany Extraterrestrial (2014) Blu-ray 3D [Region B Locked] [autoconversion]

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Extra...lu-ray/127516/

Released 2nd April 2015.

Obviously a cheap German conversion, but would be interesting to hear opinions on this as always.

Well it'll be crap if it's just a german conversion won't it? It'll be just like every other German conversion, image pushed back into the screen, wonky layers.

I just keep hoping that eventually one will surprise.

The only two German conversions I currently have is Talk to the Dead (not yet watched) and Arachnophobia (which had a 3D effect, but yes, the layering was poor and was simply pushed back).

They must be selling though, otherwise they wouldn't keep putting them out. The worst thing is, they are generally crappy SyFy movies anyway which should actually benefit from even low-end 3D as most are disaster movies or creature features - two genres I have huge guilty pleasures for.

EDIT: Oh, I also have The Grand, but not watched that yet either.

tiberius is crap its the same ones that did Predestination. Its more 3D when you switch on your tv to 3D on a random news program.

I like the alien on the cover art. Too bad the conversion studio didn't put enough effort into the 3D from the sound of it so far. I haven't tried any of the German company 3D conversions, but rarely hear good things about the 3D.

I watched this movie last night. it was entertaining enough for a horror sci fi with a dose of dark humour. I would be amazed if the German conversion is anything other than a terrible auto convert.
