Default Sony BDP-S300 and The Mummy

So, I rented The Mummy, put it in my player and the film doesn't have any sound. The menu does. But the film itself is silent.

I've got a Sony BDP-S300 with the most current firmware. Do you have any idea why this would be happening? If it's an issue of The Mummy being a new disc with some new-fangled feature that my player won't read...do I have this to look forward to with my player? It's not even a year old and the thought of needing to be careful about which discs I buy makes me a tad hostile.

Oddly enough, I have only tried this flick in my PS3 but I have the same player you do and I will try it later today (Like...7est)

If no one else posts here, you can count on me. I will check it out for you.

Until then (unless someone else has the answer) try all your settings, make sure all your audio outs are set correctly and check your receiver settings.

See you later.

Check another movie and see if you get sound.I have the same player and looked at both movies without a problem, could be a bad disc.

I tried renting another copy. It does the same thing. It, however, hasn't happened on any discs I've rented/bought.

Any ideas?
