Default Your favorite Western on Blu-ray?

Mine would have to be Once Upon a Time in the West. Though not my favorite western, I just think it's a fantastic release of the classic.

I would have to agree. While I currently don't have many westerns on blu-ray, OUATITW is probably my favorite western (always tied with Good, Bad and Ugly depending how I feel on a certain day), and one of my favorite films of all time.

The Searchers. I love westerns and I hope more come on to Blu-ray.

Outstanding cinematography, gloriously reproduced Technicolor, great score, cast, script, etc. And a great commentary track from George Stevens Jr.

Just thought I'd use this opportunity to say I would love "100 Rifles" in blu. I don't have a favorite otherwise....

A second vote for The Searchers. Followed by Stagecoach.

(Would like to see She Wore A Yellow Ribbon soon on Blu.)

Mines Django, it's a shame it looks rubbish on BD. I'm pretty sure it was just rushed out to cash in on Unchained and they had no interest in doing a proper version.

'For a Few Dollars More'. Gian Maria Volonte as El Indio is my absolute favorite western villain.

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly followed by Open Range. Not great PQ on the latter, but a big improvement over the DVD.

To me this is the film John Wayne should have took home the Oscar for.

First to mind is Dances with Wolves. The cinematography and score is so good in it. Also like how it portrays the indians in an honest way. Have a lot of favorites but this is one of the top ones.
