I'm always weary of these types of sites. They're probably ok, but I would just rather deal with members here.

Is there a particular reason you need another source aside from the b/s threads here? I've been pretty surprised at the number and variety of codes I've been able to acquire via that forum.

I want to purchase a iTunes code for exodus gods and kings and penguins but can't find anyone one this forum who is selling these particular codes, but some of these other sites do.

Both those titles are Fox, you are unlikely to see someone listing it as itunes only as you have to choose between UV/itunes/Googleplay.

You can check this thread to see how films redeem: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=236721

I see you posted a reply in the DC thread for this. I'm subscribed to this thread, so I get a notification of replies. I would highly suggest you do the same. You really just never know when someone will post a code you are looking for. One day, I re-posted a request for Whiplash, and it literally posted the same time as someone else that was selling the code. If I didn't have a subscription set up, I would have never been notified that someone else posted in the thread. Note: I use Tapatalk, so I get my notifications on my phone wherever I am, so that helps tremendously.

On a side note, Tuesday is a big day for UV releases (Interstellar, The Imitation Game, and Wild), so hopefully you find your code before your post is drowned out by all the people looking to buy/sell the three I mentioned. You can post your request every 24 hours, so I would suggest that especially if you haven't gotten your code by Tuesday.

Please post here if you get your code.

I have a feeling studios will be cracking down on UV code trafficking very soon.

You are in luck. Those movies are on sale this week, so the codes will undoubtedly show up in the sale thread starting today.

Also, I see a lot of the sites like the ones you mentioned, I have very little experience with them but do know that for the most part their prices are a lot higher than you would find from a member here on the buy/sell thread.

False. This is a fool's errand, and essentially a case of "closing the barn doors after the horses are out".

UV exists to combat piracy. Period. No matter what studios say about UV, the number one reason they came up with it is to stop people from stealing movies, as availability is the number one reason "pirates" state as their reason for downloading movies, and the reason people use "grey market" software such as Handbrake to make digital copies from physical media.

Most of the time, you can find digital copies of movies for about the same price as it costs to rent a movie. Why rent, when you can buy a code for a permanent copy? If you don't like it, just delete it from your UV account. If you do like it, you already have a permanent license. And if you really like it, you will likely buy the physical copy eventually (I know I do).

I got a reply from my post in the DC thread and now have the code I was looking for! I picked it up for $4 which is much cheaper than what those other sites were asking, which the cheapest was $8.99 I think , thanks for your reply guys!

Watch out for some of those sites. I'm in a Google+ group and some scammers there post their links, and get scammed into buying codes that are not good. I only use the forum here, a couple G+ pages and one site to buy codes.

I have purchased 100s of codes from this site, works well. Lately I have been buying from a couple others mostly due to instant code delivery, ie, no need to follow the forum waiting.....

http://www.ultravioletwarehouse.com/

http://uvgrab.com/

These have worked good^^^ Also this site can help find what you are looking for......

http://ultravioletcinema.com/getuv.php?q=HD

I Also use some of the private Google+ sites, but stay away from the public ones.

I have not personally purchased UV codes from anyone other than from other members of this site. That said, if I were to buy a code from a third party, I would likely buy from Family Video:

https://www.familyvideo.com/catalog/...?browse_id=255

They're a reputable company, and I am confident that there'd be no chance of getting ripped-off by getting a bad code. And their prices are reasonable, IMO.

Family Video sells UV codes on there website but only offer a very small selection but they are legit. I just bought 4 UV codes off them and got some really good deals. The best thing is every code they sell is HD.

Where do these sites, the ones listed on ultravioletcinema.com get there codes? I contacted a few of them offering to sell a few codes I had and they all said that they do not buy codes from people.

These types of sites and those tictails have been up for well over a year. The only one I regularly use is uvdigitalnow.com run by Tim Hughes. He updates Fridays and prices are decent compared to the other sites. Plus I just use a credit card through some of these sites so if they F me over I can charge back. I've bought some harder to get movies through them plus these sites don't have the rules of getting it early like they have on the forums here. I'll pay 8 bucks for a movie if I get it 3 weeks before bluray release if I really want to see it since I would have spent 14.99-19.99 on VUDU to watch it otherwise.

I think some own redbox machines or something also. They buy movies in bulk from some source and get them a couples weeks before release.

Same I used to buy from him from Google Hangouts before he had the website. I miss when not as many knew about him because I used to get some deals. Now seems a lot of resellers hit up his site and he sells out quick on some stuff.

Same here. Buying from him through ho, then Cooper kicked him out. So created his site. I agree his codes are purchased and then resold for higher prices. Thankfully he's making it 1 code per customer. He's also tracking ip's now. Are you on Cheaper ?
