Default The Clone Wars

Ok with this movie almost coming out, I had a quick question. I dont keep up with the comics and all that. I was just wondering where does this movie take place in the star wars story.

I am mixed on my feelings on this one, not sure if it will be good or not. Some clips it looks awesome with the action but then others looks aweful. One example is the clip that shows what I am guessing is Jabba's son and he burps. I had flashbacks of Jar Jar.

I will take the chance opening night (unless something else comes up). Clone Wars looks pretty cool. I hope this opens the flood gates and we start seeing Star Wars on BD.

I agree on both counts milo.

That battle on Christophsis (spelling?) clip looks just amazing. And I certainly hope that Lucasfilm will bring it to Blu-ray in time for the holidays.

Then next year I wish they'd give us the entire saga

More specifically it takes place between the middle of the 2nd clone wars cartoon movie after anakin becomes a jedi and Revenge of the Sith. I think this stuff will go into detail on all of the clips they showed of Anakin and Obi Wan going around and whooping everyone's asses!

I'm hoping for more and more epic battles as the series progresses. And looking at the previews of the Movie and the TV show I think it'll deliver in spades.

I wanna see thousands upon thousands of clones and droids going at each other week after week. And some epic space combat won't go amiss either.

But above all of the space battles and battlefield combat, the thing that interests me most about this project is the chance to explore more of the background characters than the films did like Commander Cody.

Can't wait!!!

I have to agree. I would rather see Hayden and Ewan team back up as Obi Wan and Anakin and show what happens in between Clone Wars and Revenge Of The Sith. But MAYBE if this is successful we will see all the Star War's films on our beloved Blu Ray.

I wondered how they were integrating the cartoons. I have them on DVD because I am a fan of SW (of course) AND the animation guy (Samurai Jack).

So they didnt act like the cartoons didn't exist? That is a good thing, because I enjoyed them.

My question is how does Anakin have a Padawan learner (Ahsoka Tano)? He's not a Jedi Master yet? Thought you had to become one. Thats what Obi Wan did so he can have Anakin.

See it's kinda weird... Lucas is working on Star Wars for the 3-D format. I believe he will release A New Hope in 2010 and so on every year. But would this be blu-ray 3-D?

Actually Obi Wan had to pass the Jedi Trials to become a Jedi Knight in order to train Anakin. The Jedi Masters USUALLY don't have apprentices anymore, and in novels and the movies the Masters always talk about their previous apprentices. Notice how Yoda is working with the younglings but he is not their true master.

Thats what I mean because in Ep. 3 he kept getting told no. Can't remember if thsat was becoming a Jedi Master?

Plus I didn't even see her(his apprentice) in Ep.3

Ah, that's the whole drama aspect of this movie/show. She is not in Ep.3, so it is most likely due to an upcoming death. Maybe from Asajj Ventress so he can fight her (but she doesn't die at all). It can't be from a major villain because then he'd want revenge.

Oh and they denied him from being a Jedi Master because they felt he wasn't ready yet. But he should be proud because he's a Jedi Knight on the Council. There isn't a test for them to become a Jedi Master, the Council decides when they're ready.

George Lucas is going absolutely batsh1t insane, this is beyond retarded.

Sounds silly but it's equally silly to go with the idea that every Hutt should be just like Jabba and a gangster and what not. Of course, it doesn't sound Lucas takes Star Wars nearly as seriously as some of the fans...

I'm pretty tired of this time period of the Star Wars universe already. Let's get to something else, please.

this is like putting a dildo in toy story and saying, not every toy is for kids.
