Jerry (Ryan Reynolds) is that chipper guy clocking the nine-to-five at a bathtub factory, with the offbeat charm of anyone who could use a few friends. With the help of his court-appointed psychiatrist, he pursues his office crush (Gemma Arterton). However, the relationship takes a sudden, murderous turn after she stands him up for a date. Guided by his evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog, Jerry must decide whether to keep striving for normalcy, or indulge in a much more sinister path.

Bought this today along with Empire Records. It looks like it could be a zany horror film. Anyone know how to embed videos? I know you can.

I bought this as well. A friend of mine who saw it in theaters had recommended it to me.

Just watched it now. Loved the animal effects and the humour, very dark in places.

I live in the US... so I don't think I can help you out. Sorry.

Anyways, this was really ****ing good. Quirky and different and Ryan (as well as the rest of the cast) did a wonderful performance. So glad I bought this.

Thanks to this cool thread, I learned of this film that was off my radar and I watched it last night via Amazon Prime streaming and thought it was flipping great. Just brilliant satire, a dark one for sure. It certainly reminded me of John Waters' Serial Mom in many ways. Must add this to my collection.
