Has anyone seen this? Jude Law's horrendous accent aside it was actually pretty good, a very tense and well made thriller with some good suspense set pieces. Out today to buy, I'm certainly tempted to revisit it.

I've heard that the ending lets it down, but then if I had a quid for every ending that people whined about and then turned out to be fine, I'd be a very rich man indeed.

It was the cast that grabbed me first of all. I mean Mendelsohn AND McNairy? yes please! They worked so well together in the criminally underrated Killing Them Softly and it's great to see that again. I thought the film was very good. There were a few character beats that were quite strange,

[Show spoiler]I assumed McNairy's character didn't die and would come back, it just felt it was going that way

and, you're right, that accent was pretty bad but apart from that I thought it was a very solid British thriller. I'll be picking this up tomorrow.

Yeah, kinda but it is an enjoyable movie and i bet the disc sounds amazing

Just got done watching this. Very good I thought. Law was excellent despite the dodgy accent. Good blind buy.

I decided not to get this in the end. I may down the line after a price drop. My favourite scene was

[Show spoiler]when they have to make their away across the sea bed for the gold, i loved that whole sequence. I wish there had been a bit more of stuff like that in the movie

Good sound and picture quality, though I don't like the Fisher-Price style menu and some more substantial extras would have been welcome. Decent film, though it would have been better if Jude Law looked less like Phil Collins and sounded less like god knows what. Might have been a better film with Michael Smiley as the lead. Don't know why Amazon are sending them out without the slip.

Amazon do it a lot. The HMV local to where i work didn't have any copies with slips.

LOL yes he does look like Phil Collins in this.

But you do forget about his accent after a while and just focus on the movie there is too much attention on his accent yes its poor but there is many examples of awful accents out there Sean Connery in the Untouchables for one.
