New 8.3 IOS bug on forum

Using iPads with 8.3, you can't insert image attachment without getting an instant crash.

I've been doing it manually. Type out the [img] bbcode, rather than clicking the button. It works, but I'd prefer to click the button (but it causes crashes, as you've said)

Some other things I've noticed with iPad, not because of 8.3

- Can't remember login details ( Have to manually sign in )
- First post in any thread that contains a video can not be played. (Solution is to quote & copy URL, open new tab, insert, go)
- First post can not be edited. ( Solution is to press on post number, opens new tab & then you can edit from there )

So now with 8.3 we get crashes for simple tasks.

I've basically been using notepad to write the code for things such as IMG, YouTube etc..

At least there are side step solutions to most of these problems.

I never have a problem with that first one. Just make sure to tap on the little box to remember your login, it keeps me logged in. I never have to enter my password after I tell it to remember.

I guess not all iPads are effected or I don't know how to reset if I acciedently hit "Never for this Site"

It worked fine on my iPad 2 & 4

I got the Air which I'm using & all other sites remember my login except this one.

Are you possibly not seeing the box because it's too small? Try zooming in by pinching the screen out.

Done that numerous times. Last time it seemed to keep me logged in after the idle time-out. I'll try a few more times, thanks

As far as I know, if the Apple iOS screen that asks if you want to save password does not appear, you can't use Auto-Fill.

Remembering the username and password for sites (auto filling fields) is separate from setting cookies. Remembering a user would be a cookie issue and local to the specific hardware/software.

Do you experience similar issues with other sites? Do you have software/settings which is blocking cookies?

Just issues with this site. I'll check to see if I can find cookie settings. Once again it's an iPad Air 8.3. I've looked at auto fill settings & I see a bunch of remembered stuff in there.

I had cookies being blocked from "any site"

I changed it to allow any site, no good. So I changed it back to sites I frequently visit.

Thanks for the input & suggestions guys. The only way I see this working is by erasing all history & internet data. Not worth doing IMO.
