Default Question about buying same brand for all speakers and sub?

I was wondering if you think the sound would be better with all the same brand speakers or doesn't matter. I have the same brand for my fronts center and back, and was thinking about getting a sub that is a different brand.

To me the most important speakers that are matched are the fronts and the center. Any sub within your budget will go great once setup.

What I have heard agrees with Bodyslide. I initially had a matching set (subwoofer included), but went to an SVS sub and no way I would go back. You'll be fine with a different sub.

This Is exactly right, when I setup my first HT I had a different brand center from my front L/R speakers. The tonal and volume balance was horrible.
