Unofficially Official 2008 NFL Megathread - Blu-ray Forum

In 1 hour and 31 minutes the NFL Season (well, pre-season) starts for me. The Saints are taking the field against the Cardinals, and even though it is just pre-season I am super excited! I'm predicting against all hope that they will go 12-4!

I wait all year for these 17 weeks, and pre-season just whets my appetite for the real season to start! That one quarter of watching the starters play makes you hope for the best! Ahhh, this is what life is about!

So duke it out, bash each other, have fun, and remember, "Any Given Sunday!"

Tomorrow my team plays. 49ers. Should be a good game. It always is between them and the raiders

Let's just get this out of the way....

SPYGATE, SPYGATE, SPYGATE, SPYGATE!!!

Well, now that we got that out of the way, my favorite team is the Patriots, and they play their first game tonight as well. Kind of worried about the secondary since they lost Samuel and Gay, but they did get younger in the LB area with Mayo and still have a top 3 if not the best defensive line in football.

And to Marquoz, I think the Saints are going to back to their form of 2 seasons ago. Shockey should be motivated and really help them this season. Hopefully Deuce is able to contribute and Brees should stay healthy because they have a great offensive line. Just need to sure up that defense.

I dont know what other pats fans think, but Mayo is going to be a stud mlb, loved the hit he put on rice taking him out of his helmet. Will be nice to have someone replace the role ted johnson had a few years ago, they have missed a guy like that bigtime the last few years.
