J.K. Rowling's The Casual Vacancy has been adapted into a mini-series, which aired on BBC a few months back, and will air on HBO in the US on April 29th. A BD set will be released on August 4th.

I've had the book in my possession since it was released, but I've yet to read it. Now that I have HBO Now for a full month, I may just have to watch the series first.

The trailer looked great & peaked my interest...could be 'my cup of tea'!

Being the Anglophile that I am I hope it is one I can enjoy!!

Read the book first. Much better than the miniseries. Miniseries wasn't bad, but the book was a thousand times better.
