does anyone have reciever? and if so is the 1080p video quality for the hdmi output on your blu ray output still good?

I have the 254 and I'm using the ps3 thruogh hdmi into a 1080i TV and it looks fantastic.

The video quality is pretty darn good. I would make sure it is well vented. HKs get pretty warm.

I have the 247 and it seems like the only difference is that it up converts the non HD sigs to 720 and the 254 does it to 1080i. And it comes with another HDMI port. Great receiver and the PQ is great with Blu ray!!

can anyone confirm that the 247 uses 1.3 HDMI? also does anyone know why the firmware is no where to be found for this unit? thanks
