those flying creatures looks very artistic indeed, looks awesome, i think its a symbol for his inner demons.

Wonder if anyone can help me here, heard a rumour that the movie company releasing this paid a lot of money for a Guns N' Roses song to be on the soundtrack and in the film, anyone know anything about this?

I knew this movie was being made but I had no idea it was coming out this early until I saw the trailer in theaters the other day.

Wow! I am soo excited and will definitely be seeing this one. Wahlberg never really impresses me but I'm still seeing it. I hope they do a good job marketing this since I haven't really heard of it coming out until the other day.

I'm uneasy because Mark Wahlberg in inconsistent and apparently he refuses to play the games because of his 'addictive personality' as he says. He says, according to IMDB, that it wouldn't be fair to his family for him to work all day and then play games all night. I have mixed feelings about that because of course family is most important if that is really a serious problem for him, but I also feel like he has a certain responsibility to research his character and role. The Max Payne games have a very specific feel and presentation. I suppose the direction, script, and post production will play a large role in that, but the title character's actor needs to be well informed also. Hopefully he was able to understand the role through other means.

Hmm I'm not that impressed by the trailer, looks to me like the average action movie. But then again I never played the games.

Hah same here. I never played the second - although now I want to because apparently that is where the supernatural side of the story comes in.

Anyway, I remember towards the end of the first game you fight off a ton of enemies in a semi-large room and there being tons of cocktails and everything was on fire. Oh man.. I need to go back and play it

I dig that poster. I hope they keep in the vein of the game for sure. Both games were great and were equally fun and enjoying.

I'd also dig a suffering movie (based on the first one). One of the greatest horror games I've played.

I loved the trailer and I loved the games, still have the beautiful white PC cases of MP 2... Trailer looks nice and dark the way I like it.
