Personally, I could care less whether the new Lara Croft ( Alison Carroll ) is a gynastist or whatnot. (sure she's hot/sexy) But it just doesnt feel right.

From the news article - Although her Lara role won't involve any movie work, she'll still be kept sufficiently busy traveling the world promoting the latest Tomb Raider game, Underworld, to allow her to quit her day job -- as a receptionist.

They're not planning on making another movie. She's there as the poster girl for the new video game and advertisements. They're using her talents as a gymnast to model the character in the game using motion recording technology, but thats as far as it goes. She's the new lara croft for gaming only.

This is where I am lost. I wasnt sure if that means she wont be involved in the movie (meaning Jolie still doing the part).

I hope Jolie is back if there is ever going to be a Tomb raider 3. Its her franchise now(at least for now)
