Could be a lot of last weeks are now £12.50. HMV usually has a 2 for £25 deal. So maybe he means those?

Yes, that's mainly what I meant - anything in the 2 for £25 at HMV seems to have dropped to £12.50 on Amazon, and loads of other new releases/pre-orders have dropped to £9.99-14.99 because they're cheaper at HMV too. Annoyingly though, the 'tell us about a lower price' function isn't working, and comes up with an error if you submit anything.

Captain Phillips should be slipped, most of the SONY titles keep their slips until they're OOP (which itself is rare), the slips are sealed too and don't slip off. The Mastered in 4K releases usually all come with slips, it's rare when they don't.

I'm beginning to think these must be store specific. All of the recently added titles you've mentioned are not in the offer at my store, these last 5 aren't even on the website.

Really?! I am based in manchester, and the store normally updates the price every Thursday. I am wondering if your local store tends to hv price update the week after or actually each store hv different price list?!?!

I am sure that HMV Trafford centre hv the same price list

Not sure, I did have a look today and most wanted man is in the offer but nothing else. To be fair I think Manchester is a bigger store/city than York, the one I go to, they'll be in the offer soon enough.

Already picked up a few preorders and also grabbed two new 3D BDs in their offer. I love this modern HMV.

What are HMV like to order from online again?

They used to be one of the best around for delivery times and packaging.

Any primate lovers might want to check their local HMV, as mine has the 5 movie Planet of the Apes collection in the deal.
http://store.hmv.com/film-tv/blu-ray...pes-collection
It's only £9 online (still a bargain!) but in store it was labelled as being in the deal. Didn't automatically reduce at the till and the confused tillperson had to do a manual reduction, but it was stickered on the slipcase inside the shrink wrap so they couldn't accuse me of swapping stickers!
Got it with Dawn and Rise (happy to pretend Tim Burton never happened to the Apes universe) and a couple of others in the 5 for 30 so that made it £18 for 7 Apes movies. Dawn also has an Ultraviolet code that I'll stick on eBay for a few extra pounds back!

Id be careful with sticking the UV code on ebay - Ive given up trying now. They keep withdrawing listings and threatening to close your account. How some people are getting away with it I just dont know!

I never use my UV codes. I wish I could sell them.

I was selling them no problem on ebay. Lately theyve decided to keep stopping me. I pointed that plenty of other people were doing exactly the same thing right this second but I got the usual stock reply.

Annoying because I made a fair bit of cash back from those useless codes - got rid of most of them anyway!

The most annoying thing is seeing other people doing it with impunity - or thats how it seems anyway! Surely they should be applying this to everyone or not at all?
