I got these Bluray movies:

Spiderman 1, 2, 3
Batman Begins
Casino Royale
Terminator 2
Pirates of the Carribbean
The 5th Element
Superman Returns
The Departed

Cost $240 AUD

I'm having some cognitive dissonance so I wanted people to tell me if I made the right decisions with these movies. What are your opinions? Made the right decision?

In my humble opinion those are some very strong purchases. Casino Royale is my most watched BD movie. I actually own all of those titles.

While many of those aren't my cup of tea.... they're all pretty solid movies....

If I had to "Rate" your collection, I'd probably give it some knocks for not having ANY classics..... You should see what Blu-ray has done for some older movies... it's incredible.

Terminator 2 - HORRIBLE
Pirates of the Carribbean - Very Good
The 5th Element - Excellent

I'd give it a 4/5 as it only contains action flicks and Terminator 2 (don't worry I bought it too unfortunately).

T2 is a really good movie.... and he probably has a better transfer than us Americans

If you like those movies, that is a great collection to have. If you do not like those movies, it is a horrible collection to have.

Own all of the except POC and T2, I haven't upgraded those from DVD yet. Good choices!

I have all those as well.... If the collection is anything it's "typical".

I enjoy all those movies on Blu though. I really like the T2 blu ray. Sure,.. I'll consider buying a super special edition if they release one but I'm happy with the current issue Blu Ray. It's a fun HT movie.

Apparently the UK version thats either just released or going to be has a new encode on it which is significantly better.

I got 125 Blu Rays and 20 Ps3 games and 20 HD DVD...and keep it comin with LOST SEASON 4!!

good collection, but IMO needs an animation (ratatouille/cars/etc) and they're all action, so maybe add some variety, like horror/drama...Pan's would be great! i'd give 8/10.

I own all those titles as well...

In my honest opinion...who cares what other people think, as long as you enjoy the movies you own, doesn't matter.

I like your collection though, that's why I own the same ones
