Inbred - Repeat Frame Issue?

Just yesterday I picked up Inbred, plugged it in to watch and the strangest thing happens. It looks as though every second frame is missing. The audio appears normal but it has a strange jerky motion that appears as if it's running at only 12FPS. I've tried it on two different players.

A BDinfo scane reveals it is running at 24FPS so I can only assume it's repeating every frame....

Anybody else experience similar issues?

It's a pity coz it looks alright and it even has a reversible slick with NO RATINGS LOGO and excellent artwork!

I see I'm not the only one. JMK1979 had the same issue too described in the User Reviews section. Should be some kind of recall for this one. I wonder if Monster will bother.

Pity, because the alternate cover is awesome, but the frame issue makes this movie unwatchable!

I've never heard of the distributor, have you been in touch with them to see if they have a response?

Yep sent them a message, just waiting on a response now.

This is the second kwown Monster Pictures blu with issues. Their Maniac remake blu has heavily pixelated previews.

Monster Pictures are really good with fixing issues, sadly they have had quite a few to fix.

Just send your disc (no case) back and they will replace it

It's uncut, region free and it was cheap. I guess I'm glad I didn't go for the Monster Pictures version. It would have been a pain in the ass for me to return it from the US to JB HiFi most likely.

Just received my replacement copy with no issues, came brand new, sealed and in a new case. Probably shouldn't have bothered... The almost exclusive reliance on 2nd rate CGI is a huge disappointment here.
