United Kingdom Amazon deals

Tonight ends the 2 for £10 deal. Usually the next day 3 for £17 arrives.

Just wondered what we can expect to see that's new to the deals, more recent releases as I'm sure the usual discs will be in.

Hoping to see a couple of the recent'ish Arrow release of Rabid. Usually Arrow stuff appears.

Also Apollo 13, the new release is a better transfer right?

This will be the first new deal like this since the shipping increase for those without Prime. It wouldn't surprise me with we see something like 4 for £20 or 5 for £30 sales.

I'm Prime though, so as long as they are cheap, roll on.

No 3 for £17 offer or anything much at all in the way of offers this week. At least my wallet is immensely grateful.

Yeah, maybe later in the month. Current 'offer' finishes July 20th, so could mean that's when the next multibuy comes in. Safe to say I'm a little surprised Amazon aren't doing a multibuy when just a couple of weeks ago they seemed to react to HMV's online presence by matching their prices.

EDIT: hold up, there's a new 2 for £10 it seems.

No, it looks like they haven't finished deleting the pages yet, though the list is shrinking by the minute.

...Though looking at the page for The burbs, it says:

'•Buy three titles for £20 from the qualifying selection when dispatched from and sold by Amazon.'

...so they're obviously still updating.

Yep, they really want people to pay for the postage. With the old 2 for £10 you could get 4 Blu-rays for £20. With this new deal you can only have 1 offer per order

From Monday, 29 June, 2015, buy any two DVDs or Blu-ray from the selection on this page for just £10 (the “Offer”). Each customer can claim an unlimited number of Offers (but only one Offer per order). The Offer ends at 23:59 BST on Sunday, 27 September, 2015.

To be fair to Amazon they need to find some way to raise all that tax they don't pay.

They've also included 8 Blu-rays in their 2 for £5 deal:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s?fst=as%3Ao...rnid=383379011

Might get False Trail, Clone, Crawl, and 21 Days.

Noticed that Resident Evil Retribution 3D was in their previous 2 for £10 deal and now it's in their 2 3D for £20 deal! Had to laugh.

False Trail is good, but it's a sequel to The Hunters, which Arrow only released on DVD - it's in the 2-for-£10 sale. You don't have to see the first film to follow it, but it does add to it if you do.

The Swedish BD of The Hunters has English subtitles but not the sequel False Trail. You can occasionally see this on eBay or Marketplace as an import but has never really got cheap even in Sweden.

Since amazon have put up their postage I haven't ordered a single bluray from them.

The addition of HMV's store being back online means that i've already ordered 5 for £30 with free postage over £10. It makes it a much better deal.

I will probably get False Trail and Damage before that sale ends.

Looks like the 1 offer per order thing is cross promotional, I've tried to buy a 3 for 20 and a 2 for 10 together and it won't let me. Bastards.
