Default Your most hated Blu-ray cover art?

One of my favorite movies.. but I just hate it so much that I can't upgrade my DVD with the classic cover art just yet.

How's about we don't hate and be thankful instead that we have the ability to enjoy a quality presentation of what matters most... the film itself.

While I don't hate this cover art, I just wish it was something more. A collage of scenes from all 6 movies maybe. This is the only cover art in my collection that I have a slight little itty bitty problem with.

Blu-Ray cover artwork could be put together by a 5 year old using photoshop for the first time. The movie is all that matters.

Go ahead and upgrade, but put the blu-ray in the old dvd case. I've done this with many films in my library: Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Rear Window, Alien, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Tron, Empire of the Sun… And my candidate for the absolute worst blu-ray cover art of all time is Sex, Lies and Videotape.

Womp womp. It's just discussion for the fun of it. lol. And different things mean different things to different people. Perhaps people really do enjoy cover art (or movie posters for that matter).

It's just that over the last 2 years or so, these forums have become exceedingly negative with regards to the format. Prior to this new era of negativity, this was a forum to focus on the positive. If there was negative to be discussed, it was done in such a way as to be a respectful topic to debate and not just listing negativity. These days it's becoming more and more of the TMZ click bait + spawn negativity nonsense that accomplishes absolutely nothing. It's a dead end thread from the very start.

In this case, instead of using "YOUR MOST HATED BLU-RAY COVER ART?" as a thread title, could they not have used something like "WHAT BLU-RAY COVER ART WOULD YOU IMPROVE UPON AND HOW?" Even then, they could easily have combined that thread with the "CUSTOM COVER ART" thread where people are actually being proactive in doing something about cover art that they aren't content with.

Also, I just find it hard to believe that anyone could truly HATE cover art. Hate is a very strong word that should be reserved for use when pedophiles and serial murderers are the subject being assessed for likeability.

I prefer original theatrical art over modern Photoshop jobs, as I'm sure most here do, but I don't print up custom covers or anything. The worst that immediately come to mind are these:

There's a lot of hyperbole regarding bad cover art, that a five-year-old could do it, etc. I have barely any Photoshop skills, but I still think I could do better than these.

So one or two murders is fine? It's only okay to hate them when they incorporate a continuity to their killings?
