Dude Where's my Car?

I know it's a dumb, dumb movie but I love it. It makes me LOL.. Just wondering if anyone has this yet and if so how does it look?

I really want to pick this up but I can't see spending anymore than $20 bucks for an older movie that runs less than 90 mins.

Video is a solid 4/5, audio a bit less (But hey it's a catalog comedy, wasn't expectin much). Only extra is a trailer though.

Same here, and with Fox's prices, I think I'll have to pass on this one...

I missed this one on the big screen. I wonder if I should see it ? not sure it's worth a Bluray purchase but at least it should be worth seeing

WOW... seriously what is it with fox? the transfers look great so far but for what they sell them for no extras at all?

I'd even be ok if they included the extras in SD to be honest. I have both trasporter movies and love the transfers. but I swear I thought I had bad discs when I clicked on extras and saw nothing but A trailer....

if you like dumb, but funny comedies in the vain of Dumb and Dumber or Harold and Kumar I say go for it =] Lots of laughs in this one.

BTW Hows Belgium?? I lived there for 3 years and loved it despite what Colin Farrell says about the country in 'in bruges'

Well I haven't seen it on Blu-Ray, but its definately worth a rent if you haven't seen it before as I found it hilarious, but not good enough for a purchase.

This movie brings back great and hilarious memories. However, I can't imagine this being a purchase unless it dropped below $10.

I can't imagine the PQ really mattering beyond a decent upconversion.

I have the DVD of this. The movie is funny, probably worth renting if you want to see it in highdef (or, if you can live without the hi-def and find the DVD for $5 or less, it is worth buying).

This is true to some extent, but to anyone who hasn't seen it, be warned, this is a VERY weird movie, even compared to those other examples.

When I first saw commercials for "Dude", I figured it would basically be just about two stoners looking for their car but maybe getting side tracked, similar to how Harold and Kumar (when that movie came out a few years later) were looking for White Castle and keep getting side tracked.

And while there is some similarity in that they are getting side tracked in "Dude", without giving too much away, it ends up involving some really, really weird supernatural/sci-fi kind of stuff, only a very dumb comedy level. It is pretty funny, but not AT ALL what I was expecting when I first saw ads for this. While some over the top stuff that technically isn't possible in real life happens in Harold and Kumar, most of it is still somewhat grounded in reality to some extent. The same really can't be said for "Dude..".

I doubt I will upgrade to this Blu-Ray anytime soon, mainly because while I do love dumb many dumb comedies and laughed at this one, it's not high enough on my personal list to warrant a Blu-Ray upgrade at this point.

I would possibly consider upgrading if nothing else that I wanted was coming out anytime soon, but between the TONS of Blu-Rays (including some new titles and other catalog titles that will be upgrades for me), the few DVDs (which are mainly TV show season sets that aren't coming out on Blu-Ray), and MANY video games that are coming out between now and Christmas that I plan to buy, I have to find a cut-off point somewhere, and this one is just not high enough on the todem pole to warrant an upgrade right now.
