I actually have to agree with Star Wars Ep.4. It is a little weak in the plot and script.

A TV show that wasn't nearly as good as I remember it was 'Airwolf'.

Not movies, but...

A-Team, Knight Rider, CHiPs

Used to like watching these. Amazing how bad they were.

Caddyshack

Rented it for my wife and I to watch a few months back. Was really pumped as I remembered it being hilarious. Was actually quite stupid I thought. Most of the jokes seemed dumb now. My wife actually fell asleep.

I was watching Robocop not too long ago on BD and I couldn't stand watching the special effects any longer. Plus the dialogue sucked.

Just to name a few more: He-Man, She-Ra, Dinosaucers, Cops (cartoon), You can't do that on television, who's afraid of the dark, fat albert.

Song of the South.

I know probably none of us have seen this since at least the mid-80s, as that was the last time it was released in theaters... and it's never been released on DVD in the US, but it's really not as good as you remember it.

It's actually very, very boring.

A 1980's civil war miniseries called North & South. My father bought it on dvd not too long ago. I tried watching it with but I got bored quickly. He also bought this unfamiliar miniseries called Tour Of Duty. It sucked too. I swear some people watch too much tv.

There used to be these french funny movies with this actor Louis De Funès which were so funny when I was a kid but now they don't seem so great (though some still do)

I know what you mean. Children have a better sense of humor than adults. Don't you wish you were a kid again?
