Just finished watching Frozen and I loved it. Great story line, good music. Definitely going to pick it up sooner than later. Question is, should I purchase the 3D version with slip or 2D version?

Being a new-ish Blu collector, which would should I purchase? or should I invest in the steelbook?

Don't they go miles from home for the ice-farming? I thought that was indication of the scene in the beginning. I do like the Honest trailers, they're fun.

It's up to you, of course. If you have a 3D setup or plan on investing in one, 3D would be the obvious choice. It's difficult to get hold of with the slip now, though. Otherwise you can get the 2D release for about £15. All the same bonus features. The steelbook is quite bland, IMO, and is going for quite a hefty price since Zavvi sold out.

As you said Phil92 the slip is in short supply, so it might be worth waiting for the US 3D release later on in the year. Although I'm not sure if it's been given a firm release date.

what is up with the 3D release being out of stock for so long on amazon. I am waiting my order for a week now and it still says "Temporarily out of stock" isn't this unusual ?

It's still in Tesco's if you have one near.

That might be a bit too far away for a 4-pint carton of milk and a BD!

It should be back soon. I thought the US was getting a 3D release this year or was that just a rumour?

Rumor i think. Yeah i also think amazon uk will have it up for order again soon

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I didn't want to read 7 pages of replies. Is there any version of Frozen on 3DBD that would play on a standard 3D Blu-Ray player from North America?

All releases of Frozen 3D worldwide are region free. The UK one is here.

The Italian release was under 10 Euros a little while back, but these days it's

that are the cheapest (unless you buy a Scandinavian release).
