With its crazy decapitations, disembowelments, and dismembered limbs, Turbo Kid follows in the footsteps of other hyper pastiche movies such as Wolfcop and Hobo With A Shotgun, with director Jason Eisener bringing his grindhouse touch as a producer!

Also on hand is legendary actor Michael Ironside, who brings some serious genre credentials to the movie and leads a cast of up-and-coming talent.

The writing-directing team of Anouk Whissell, François Simard, Yoann-Karl Whissell have not only created a love letter to retro movies, but a love letter to the fans, who are sure to go crazy for The Kid.

So jump on your dirt bike, turn your walkman up to 11, and get turbocharged!

Agreed she's amazing, i'm besotted lol. I'll definitely buy this day one now i've seen it, great fun with an amazing soundtrack and some very inventive FX.

Really fun flick! Pity there's not more on the extras side. Would love to see in great detail how they made it... a commentary would have been nice.

Agreed, she was great, i fell in love with her instantly. Can't believe she's 30, she looks early 20's.

Very silly film. Some good gore gags in there and a few laugh out loud moments (usually splatter-related), but otherwise very forgettable. It's basically Bagman on a bigger budget stretched out to 90 minutes.

It was a nice movie, although I may be in the minority here to say that I found the gore distracting (I love Riki-oh, so it's not gore per se that's the problem, but I thought it was needlessly forced in here. For instance, Manborg, a similar type of movie, was great fun without being all gory). The romance element was sweet and Michael Ironside was having fun, skullface dude was terrific. Also loved the idea of everyone going around on bicycles.

And yeah, the keyboard music was really really well done.
