I was under the impression that this was going DVD only, but guess not. Turns out Best Buy is having an exclusive blu-ray + DVD edition tomorrow. Should be $9.99 and I believe most stores will carry it.
This is the latest horror movie from Marcus Nispel (the remakes of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Friday The 13th). No cover art available, but you can find it on BestBuy.com. I'll be picking this one up tomorrow along with Lost After Dark and Curse Of Downer's Grove at $9.99 each. Worth mentioning, Scream Factory's Backcountry and The Harvest will also be $9.99. So they'll have lots of new release horror at bargain prices tomorrow. |

I bought Exeter today, along with Lost After Dark and Curse Of Downers Grove. I'll post pics of the case in a little while, since I haven't seen any online.
My store had all 5 of the $9.99 new release blu-rays in stock. 3 copies of The Harvest, 2 copies of the rest (1 now for the three I bought). The Scream Factory ones had slipcovers, the rest do not. |

Watched mine tonight. Only extra is a 20 minute making-of titled "Behind The Blood." And of course, there's the DVD copy and digital copy.
Also 4 trailers for super low-budget horror movies play before the menu. Two were "Treehouse" and "Avenged" but I forget the rest. Something about a clown, the other was Ouija something. The movie was good gory fun too, I liked it a lot. Never a dull moment. Of the 5 $9.99 titles at Best Buy this week, this is definitely the one to get. |

I haven't had a chance to check out The Harvest yet, but of the rest, Exeter was by far my favorite. It's just plain fun, a bloody slap in the face to all the lame PG-13 possession movies of the past few years. If you liked Marcus Nispels' other films, you will probably like it. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

I think you're right, wow.
![]() Glad I grabbed one when it was out, easy and cheap. Although not $2 cheap (I'm in for $8 after selling my digital code way back when it was new). It's also proven that finding out an obscure disc/movie you own is suddenly super ****ing rare, the movie instantly gets 10-25% better! ![]() ![]() |
