I just saw a two minute preview/commercial on one of the HD theater channels, the visuals look great in HD, I'm putting it in my netflix queue.

...received my copy early from Tower.com...i found it to be an excellent transfer...the colours are sharp and intense...although i expected more, i was not disappointed...

Hmm, the first half of the film had me very interested, until that whole long crying scene...blah! It just drags on and on and that little girl is very annoying after a while. Good movie otherwise, I'm sure the PQ will not disappoint.

Film: The Fall is one of the most visually breathtaking movies ever committed to film, and virtually every last frame was accomplished in-camera.

PQ: The Fall is a jaw-droppingly beautiful film, and its release on Blu-ray is among the most extraordinary that the format has to offer.

AQ: The sound design is extraordinary, trumping blockbusters with many, many times its budget, and it translates to Blu-ray flawlessly.

Conclusion: I didn't want The Fall to end, and when the closing credits did start to make their upward crawl, it practically took a concerted effort for me not to immediately play it again from the beginning. To my eyes, The Fall is perfect -- there's not a role I'd recast, not a scene I'd gut out, and not a line I'd change --

Cant wait for this man...

The Fall is coming out on Blu-ray soon!!! As a new owner of a new Sony Z series 46" HDTV as well as a PS3...I cannot wait to pop this disc in a see the picture quality of the Blu-ray!!! This is probably my most anticipated Blu-ray release so far.

BTW, Who else is getting it???

Did you see it at the theater? I'm interested in it but didn't see it at the theater. So, I've been waiting to see some comments on it.

I watched this over the weekend, and I wasn't impressed. Much like The Cell, I found the ending to be a little impact. Looks and sounds great, tho!

I like to be surprised when I see a movie, and The Cell answered that on all levels : story, visuals, even J. Lopez's acting. First time here I've heard about The Fall, I'll blind buy it as it seem Tarsem's gone to new heights of crazy visuals and story.

I work a Blockbuster and I just wached the movie yesterday (on SD DVD) and the movie was BEAUTIFUL! I'll really have to get this 2morrow (also buying Transformers) on Blu-ray...its gonna look INCREDIBLE!

Netflix just shipped The Fall to me today... should get it tomorrow.

I wanted to buy this, but I've been trying to cut down on purchases lately as I realized I was buying too many movies I didn't really love or want to watch again (and a few cheap blind buys I just didn't like).

This movie looks pretty excellent though. All I could think of during the trailer was Adventures of Baron Munchausen... which is a good thing (a favorite of mine growing up -- easily one of the greatest adventure movies).
