5 free movie offer? expired

just bought bluray player yesterday, i went to bluraysavings.com and the offer says expired.. is there no more free movie offers?

I actually thought these expired a long time ago for some reason.

well there is no incentive anymore, because HD DVD is dead, so there is no need to lure you over to Blu-ray

This offer expired in February, maybe something new will come around the holidays but I wouldn't count on it.

I don't really think that's it. DVD did it for about the same ammount of time as Blu-Ray did. It's more just an early addopter thing they do.

Sweet! Than I am not crazy. I see someone else pointed out it expired in Feb. Yeah, that was a while ago.

To the OP, why did you think this would work? I am not saying that to insult you or anything, I am just curious if maybe something on/in the box said something like you get 5 free movies or something liket hat.

i remember seeing it advertised months back, just bought bluray player and didnt see anything, was hoping more than anything

thats bc it was a promotion they did to compete with HD-DVD and since that format is dead, they stopped it

Just to be more specific, the last 5 free movies giveaway expired on January 31.

On a personal note, that was the same day I bought my 52" Sony XBR4 TV and 80GB PS3. Barely got under the wire on that movie giveaway thing. Didn't get the free movies until the end of March.

I stayed on it, made several phone calls, finally did receive the 5 free Blue Ray's from their holiday giveaway offer that ended Jan.31st in June.

Apparently what held up mine was that I sent in the wrong bar code. There was 4 or 5 Bar Codes on the box. They were unclear as to which one you needed to mail in with the rest of the paperwork. Result it took about 5 month's

I stayed on it. They finally did come.
