Just saw the new HD Trailer for Fast and Furious, reuniting the original cast vin diesel and paul walker, the trailer looks promising and I'm sure will be as good as the first or else these two would not have agreed to do this.... check it out as surely this will be an upcomming Blu Ray release

So, is this an actual "Part IV", or this some "Reimagined updated remake of the original"?

(Because if it's the latter, it violates one of my prime Movie Laws:
"'Last Action Hero' Syndrome: Beware any movie that SHOULD grammatically have a 'A', 'An' or 'The' article in its title but doesn't, as it's a clear sign that the movie has been through one studio<->agent negotiation on the phone too many." )

After watching the trailer I am a little disappointed. I guess I was expecting something else.

i think its part 2.5, it's supposed to fit in between the 2nd and 3rd one. i'm glad to say i don't know that much about the fast and the furious "universe" as i've heard it called. i won't be going to see it anyway.

I saw Tokyo Drift and while it was entertaining I don't think it's really a movie to remember for a long time. Just entertainment.

Till this day i refuse to watch that garbage. The first one was ok, the 2nd one wasn't quite as good as the first but not horrible, and the third looked like a mokey with down syndrom could of made a better flic. I will however see the 4th one since i do like vin diesel and paul walker is withstandable.

Ok first of all, the 3rd one is actually a lot better than you think, and was more of a spin off. It stands on its own, better racing and story which the second one really sucked at. The 2nd one was a horrible sequel and should be eraser from the series imo.

As for this one, it looks more like what 2 should have been. Here is hoping, as it has the director and crew from Toyko Drift which most people really liked and now has a true sequel crew. In my opinion this is really the sequel to the first one.

I must say... I was skeptical... but I just couldn't help but get pumped after seeing the ending... that car man... what can I say.

It looks to be the sequel that the first one truly deserved, but didn't get.

As for the Tokyo Drift bashing....come on guys...it was a spin off with a surprise connection in characters at the end. It stands on its own and rather than doing the same exact thing the first 2 did...it showed a different side of street racing...a cool one at that. And you can't tell me it wasn't worth watching it just to see the all of the Japanese babes with lollipops....come on guys....your standards are way too high...it's mindless entertainment...just like the first one was.

I don't understand the TD bashing myself. It was a lot better then 2 Fast 2 Furious.

As the the trailer to Fast and Furious, it looked awesome! The original four from the first FTW!

Also for those who are wondering, this film from what I understand is an interquel(a new story inbetween two others. In this case inbetween 2F2F and Tokyo Drift). From what I heard, Han from Tokyo Drift is gonna be in it.
