1) PM includes .com of warehouse clubs (Costco, Sam's).
2) You'll also be able to PM while placing an order on Target.com but you'll have to call.

More options is always good. Especially being able to PM online.

That being said, I've never done a PM at Target. Seems like an even bigger pain than Best Buy (where I PM all the time).

I've price matched at Target multiple times and I've never had an issue. They just had me show the price on my phone at customer service and adjusted the price.

Target is surprisingly easy to price-match, in my opinion. The only major downside is you can only do it at guest services (the returns counter) and not at any register with a standard cashier. They pretty much use their iPad and scan the barcode of whatever you're price-matching and look it up on the competitor's website. Sometimes (and I mean, very YMMV) they will just go by what you say and ask that you bring it up on your phone. That's an indicator the iPad is out of commission, haha. As long as it's an official price and not a 3rd party seller price, they will honor it if the barcodes match.

Saw this today.

Funny, I've never had a problem price-matching Amazon or BBY at Target.
Was hoping they would throw Fry's into the list, but of course not!

Very cool. Like someone else said, If only the PM could be done in electronics or any register it would be golden!

The worst part about price-matching at Target is waiting for employees to look things up on their Ipad, especially when they don't know how to operate it.

When that happens ask for the LOD (Lead on Duty or Leader of the Day). Or bring up their PM policy on your phone.

As per policy, pricematching is supposed to be done at the service desk. Some stores follow policy, some don't. You found one that doesn't.

Even worse is when I have the page listing on my iphone, but it's not official proof until they pull it up on their store ipad.

Um of course, there are plenty of ways for you to fake that shit on your own phone or tablet.

I've only had a one issue with price matching. Apparently they can only price match 1 per item. Which kind of sucked because I was going to buy a couple of 360 headsets at the time. Other than that, it hasn't been too bad. I do agree that to really be competitive their registers should all be trained on price matching. Maybe have an alternative to the iPad to cut down costs, which I think is the real factor. iPad is less likely to be misplaced or stolen at the CSD.

Um, no. I'm pretty sure that's not the case when they watch me click my amazon app, search for the movie, and display the price. Unless I'm just not aware of people somehow creating fake websites in a pinch while at the customer service desk?

we do that at our store in electronics because most of the girls up front have no idea what they are doing lol. If it is like a CD or movie for just a couple bucks, I verify it myself on the tablets and then do it. We don't do like a $500 difference on a TV but if it is something small, especially if there are tons of people up front waiting inline I'm not gonna send someone back up there for $2 difference if I can easily verify it

Where I work we use iPad Mini's to order stuff from our website with free shipping, pick ISPU orders, release ISPU, conference video chats, ect and they get missed placed all the time same as our wifi phones and symbol guns. No one wants to sign them in and out.

Luckily these $30Epson printers showed up just as 2 of my 4 cartridges went dry (the printer had never printed cleanly anyway). It turned out getting 2 of these was 60% the price of 4 new Epson cartridges. I'll probably give the extra printer to a school or student and let them mess with the generic cartridges.
Their policy is to limit it to one item per guest but the policy also only explicitly says that for online PMs. It is silent on when you bring a physical ad.
