I have been holding off on purchasing this on blu-ray for a while since I have a DVD set; but with the 25th anniversary and all these sets being released for that reason, I will purchase the steelbook version. Love the artwork. Hoping it comes with the digital copy, which is included with the box set and the amaray set. I was sad I couldn't get the 2014 Comic Con set for this film, because some of the asking prices were ridiculous online and I wouldn't allow myself to pay a crazy price for it. I'm betting this will be $19.99 on release day. I have about $6 in shopkick points, so will use my shopkick points for this.

Same here. I was going to hold off on this but when I saw the steelbook

...I pre ordered it right then and there. You KNOW you have to pre order a steelbook when it has gorgeous artwork and cover...and this one does,imo

I believe it does come with a DC.

I think @AlphaNoodle was referring to bestbuy canada. they have a 25th anniversary edition for 12.99 canadian which is pretty much free counting the crappy exchange right now

Yes that is what I was referring to, sorry for not clarifying! I don't know what the differences are between the 2 to justify the price discrepancy, if there any differences at all for that matter

Unfortunately folks in the US won't be able to take advantage of the low cost in Canada since Best Buy doesn't ship to the US.

I just saw this for the first time a few months ago. It's really good. It's subtle, but dark. Very classic Burton. Has a good unique story but mostly based off of Frankenstein's monster.
