Australia Warehouse 13: The Complete Series (11/26/15)

Quote:
After saving the life of the President, two top Secret Service agents find themselves abruptly transferred to Warehouse 13 — a massive, top-secret storage facility in the badlands of South Dakota that houses every strange artifact, mysterious relic, fantastical object and supernatural souvenir ever collected by the U.S. government. Now the pair — off-the-cuff Agent Pete Lattimer and by-the-book Agent Myka Bering — must chase down reports of supernatural and paranormal activity in search of new objects for their eccentric new boss, Artie Nielsen, to safeguard at the Warehouse. It’s a wildly entertaining adventure full of inventive gadgetry and thrilling action, and with all 64 episodes from the complete series catalogued and archived in this nineteen-disc set, now’s your chance to snag it, bag it and tag it!

Also worth noting a German set has been listed, with a price of €96.98.

Just found it and ordered for now unless a UK release gets put up.

Finally about time we got a blu-ray release. Took them long enough.

Been recommended that this series is worth watching by a friend of mine, who normally doesn't steer me wrong.

Will pick this one up with the Boxing Day sales or another 20% off sale.
$155 is a bit much, considering Mad Men BD Complete Season and it's 22 disc/7 seasons is only $10 more.

However, overall it is great news to get a BD release over the US. Funny to note that we have followed Germany, with our two countries only getting this release, at the moment. Same as Californication, that was released here and Germany… But we didn't get the last season and Germany did.

The series was released on Blu-ray in Scandinavia as well, which is where you would pick up season 7 from if you don't want foreign text on the front cover:

Some more news about the German-Boxset:

It tried one disc from each season in my Region A-Player and they all worked. So this set is indeed region free. When the menu for language selection comes up there are actually not just options for German, English and Italien but also for US & Canada. The discs also contain FBI and Homeland Security Warnings. So these discs are really completly US-ready.
Like the packing states subtitles are available in English, German and Italien.

The Eureka-Crossover-Episode can be chosen from the Bonusmaterials on the last disc of season 2. It's just SD and Dolby Digital-Sound though. A bit strange considering, that "Eureka" has been released on Blu-Ray here already.

Picture and Sound quality seemed ok for the few scence I checked. I noticed some truly awful looking CGI sequences though. In season 5 there is an episode with a CGI bird that looked beyond bad. I would guess that this has nothing to do with the transfer and more with the budget of the show.

WTF. That's a shame.. it's not a special episode or anything, it's part of the season and just aired like a normal episode.

I saw it on the shelves in my local store on Wednesday, saw the price and vomited in my mouth a bit. I might go in there today, if so I will let you know. It is still down at the low price of EUR 61.99 in Germany, so unless the local disc has the crossover in HD I will be picking it up from ammy

EDIT

They apparently only received one in stock and it was sold!

That is a cracker. Have you ordered from these guys before? I wonder if any UK members would mind ordering and mailing to Australia. Forward2me are wanting to charge around 30 quids to remail it (roughly)

zoom is a universal studios distribution side, while i have not used their main outlet (zoom.co.uk) i have used their store on Rakuten.co.uk but the prices are higher on Rakuten.

from what i understand they are reliable if Univseral studios can ever be called that

They do some incredibly cheap deals on their own Universal titles only on the Zoom website. Remember last Christmas they had the big Speilberg boxset under half the price of anyone else.

I just checked the website and it is $95.20 it says that tomorrow you get 20% off so I am not sure if that is already included or the 20% is on top of the $95.20.

$95.20 is the reduced price.

they always put a red line through the old price when they have 20% discount promotions.

as shown on JB Hi-Fi :

ticket price $119
$95.20
$23.80 off ^

if your in Australia that is a good price around £47 better than Amazon.co.uk £84

by the way the 20% discount is valid up to 31st dec on all tv series and films blurays/dvd's

i was half tempted to get the Justified the complete series on Blu-ray but somehow i do not think it will sneak through customs as a gift
