I have used Axelmusic.com many times, in fact I ordered "The Fall" from them just today. Good company with ok import prices even with postage. I was thinking about Kill Bill aswell. Hate the need to wait months for a movie and pay more for it.

agreed, they can be a little slow with delivery but they are brilliant should you have any issues - also you get all the blu rays in the thin US boxes, rather than the chunky UK ones

I just got my copy of "Speed Racer" ordered 3rd September and arrived today the 9th. But I do think this has been my quickest delivery with them, mybe they are started in get quicker now. Lets hope so, they have good prices and beats waiting months for UK release. Like remmers33 said you get the thin case and not the chunky case.

However good the quality may be.. It's still not the uncut Japanese Version where you see everything in color. At the end fight of the movie it will still switch to black and white... Maybe they release that jap version one day.. Or you wait for the Jap BD..

I did not know the black and white scenes were censorship, I thought they were an artistic choice by Quantin Tarantino.

So, these films should be released tomorrow in the UK. Does anyone here have it on preorder with Amazon.co.uk? I placed my order for the Kill Bill Vol.1/Kill Bill Vol.2 set way back on 12th September, with free Prime delivery, but my order isn't even preparing to dispatch yet. I hope this is an Amazon delay, not a delay with the set/individual BDs.

QUEXOS , yes the fight scene in black and white was censorship. The Japanese release kept it in color with a few gory short scenes (more blood) left in that were cut from the US release including the Bride cutting off Sophie's other arm while she was still in the car trunk

*SIGH* You are wrong. The International version of Vol.1 is not censored. The Japanese version was for the Japanese audience directly. You can p*ss and moan about the scenes from the Japanese version not being in the U.S or UK version, but they're not censored. Research, people.

I'm in the UK and buy 99% of my USA blu rays from www.tower.com.

They ship everything singularly so customs leave them alone and don't tax you. This means you pay $5 per item on shipping. I used Axel for Sin city and it came in about a week, but thats only because tower.com doesn't have it because its Canadian.

Use tower for everything that you can. I think they have a 5 working day delivery time to the UK.

Looks like there must be some supply problems, or another delay of some kind involving the double pack. Amazon is quoting 6 to 9 days for dispatch, Play doesn't have it at all yet and a few other sites seem to have not yet reveived stock. Some places have it.

Ah well, gonna have to wait it out...

Really, louder? That seems extremely unlikely.

Yes, I could not believe it. Hard to tell if the PCM is more discrete! Tried to compare some scenes. But DD 5.1 is louder and more bass. I hope someone can test theirs and confirm. Hope it's not my settings. SONY BD player reads DD as 48Kbps and PCM as 48Kbps / 16Bit.
