So, I had four games saved to my external hdd - Halo 5 preorder and Gears of War redux. Both of which are no longer installed

Anyone ever run into this issue? Frustrating that I had to install over 100 gb worth of games, but since I don't know how this would have happened.....

that sucks.. are you a preview member/using the beta software? I heard it's full of bugs and not reliable at all at its current state

or maybe it's an issue with the external hdd?

If you're running the new OS that could have something to do with it, or your external HDD. Which OS/HDD are you using?

It's been part of the OS since the consoles launch.

Yep.

I've had more chubby file games vanish in the past as well. Most recently Sunset Overdrive.

Not sure what the internal clock is but these AAA games will disappear if not played. Interestingly, none of my digital only games from launch have disappeared yet.

MS thinks the world has no data cap on Internet charges. So I've upgraded my IPS for a fee to get unlimited data/month. Also if there is a setting option to turn this off, I've yet to see it.

Thanks for the responses. I went to reinstall Gears and Halo 5 and they instantly showed as re-downloaded - even able to play a match on Gears. Went to xfer games to the internal hdd from external, and got a 'please wait for your download to finish before doing that.

I downloaded the game a week ago.

Also, and this is a question on Headsets - I can hear out of my TB XO Seven but can't hear my voice at all - using the updated controllers - any ideas how to get the mic working?

I've had an issue since the backwards compatibility preview was implemented. I have 2 instances of Shadow Complex in my library and listed as installed. I can uninstall one but the other is permanently installed and has a black box for the icon artwork. Annoying to say the least. Also since I got Rare Replay I also have two listings of Perfect Dark Zero (since I also already owned that on the 360).

I swear the PS4 is a more stable device - never have these issues. Looks like everthing is installed, though under 'manage games' Halo odst is listed as Installing, even though I can play it no problem.

My Turtle beach mic not working, but since the little freebie one does, I assume its a issue with the mic, not xbox one

I am starting to think its the Halo 5 console itself - since I got it this week, cannot connect to Live 50% of the time, even though its hardwired to the modem....

Not in my case. My PS4 is the most unreliable POS I have ever owned. At least I can blame being in the OS BETA with the One.

Since the 3.5 gig update this past week my One is much snappier than when I originally got the NXE installed.

When I turn on my console, I just see the green screen with Xbox One & 3 dots.

Maybe the 3 dots mean the console is doing some thing?

It's been doing that for hours now with no change.
